For 35 years, Habitat for Humanity has worked across Los Angeles to help individuals and families build strong, stable foundations for their futures. In the wake of the recent wildfires, our commitment to rebuilding Los Angeles has never been stronger. Many families are not only dealing with the loss of their homes but also facing financial burdens that feel overwhelming.

Habitat LA is here to support those impacted by the Palisades and Eaton fires, offering assistance to repair and rebuild homes, restore stability, and help families recover. We will prioritize support for low-income households that are uninsured, underinsured, or most vulnerable.

While the road to recovery will be long, Habitat LA is dedicated to being with you every step of the way. Together, we can rebuild stronger, safer communities for all.

We are providing:

  • Short Term Housing Vouchers

In partnership with AirBnB, we offer credits for stays of 30+ nights.

  • Smoke Remediation

Smoke damage clean up and remediation so you can safely return to your home.

  • Home Repairs

Essential repairs to restore your home.

  • Rebuilding

Support and funding to help you rebuild your home.

  • Gap Financing

Silent loans to cover the difference between insurance payouts and actual rebuilding costs.

  • Replacement items

Appliances, furniture and household goods to replace what was lost in the fires.

Together, We Can ReBUILD LA™

Our mission is to build homes and communities so everyone has a place to live with dignity. In times of disaster, it’s more important than ever to stand together and help those who need us most. Habitat’s efficient and transparent use of donations means that every dollar contributed goes directly to helping the people of Los Angeles rebuild their lives after this tragic event. ¯ß
